Moroccan Education and Resource Network (MEARN)

MEARN's vision is :
-For the empowerment of all of Moroccan children and youth through access to quality education, information and knowledge on the basis of their effective use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).

-For the transformation the Moroccan educational system to a knowledge-based model to prepare the youth of Morocco to effectively enter a Global Economy based on Knowledge, Information and Technology.

MEARN's mission is :

Promoting Quality Education

Supporting the policy of the ministry of national education and Youth by mobilizing resources, building effective partnerships and knowledge in promoting sustainable education

 MEARN's strategic Goals

Raise awarness of the potentiel of ICTs in education

Working in partnership with all Moroccan educational institutions (public or private, primary, middle, secondary and…) to setup their ICT facilities and to develop technical and pedagogical capacity necessary to use ICT to enhance teaching and learning

Build effective partnership locally, regionally and globally

 What We Do

Create awareness of the use of ICT in education through press articles, education ICT demos, conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
Lobby and advocate for the utilization of ICT in education and Civic Society.
Work in Partnership with educational institutions to develop their ICT facilities
Develop ICT skills and facilitate skills transfer through a phased professional training program.
Promote civic education
Promote Youth Programs
