1.      Project Context

a.      Country Strategy Goal:

      The new national policy on youth is encouraging youth creativity and initiatives, supporting free expression, increase mobility and exchange, professional development of youth.  This strategy is also encouraging NGOs to promote programs focusing on youth development.

b.      Pillar Goal:

The project addresses “programs for youth”

Unlimited Youth project will help youth participate positively in solving problems and feel they are at the level of responsibility so that they can do something helpful and useful to their communities.

 

2.      Intended Outcome(s), Objectives, and Performance Measures

Empowered youth capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership skills and civic awareness to promote and implement constructive social change within their local communities in Morocco.

 

 

1.      Number of Youth trained through training sessions and meetings (Target around 5000 youth).

2.      Number of youth actively involved in their communities, as measured through their participation in volunteer community service and contribution to the overall constructive social change (Target around 2500 youth).

Objective #1: Reinforcing  civic values of youth

 

Raise Moroccan youth’s awareness about crucial issues within their local communities, while honing their skills through training, to become change-oriented and heavily involved in volunteerism.

3.      Number of youth trained through trainings, meetings Increased cooperation and networking with other organizations and demand among NGOs and sessions (target around 3000 youth).

4.      Quality of youth-led projects implemented (target around 120 projects).

 

 

Objective #2: Reinforcing cooperation between schools , community institutions and local NGOs

 

Stronger cooperation and widened network with community institutions and NGOs locally toward a solid implementation of change-oriented, youth-led projects.

5.      Number of cooperative activities among networked organizations (target: 90 cooperative activities  through feedback solicited from schools, NGOs and other educational organizations)

1.       Organize sensitization campaigns about the importance of environmental issues for 100 youth.

3.       Protection of consumer campaign: Organize sensitization campaigns on consumer protection and product safety.

4.       Youth Summit: Organize a 3 day youth summit with the participation of 180 engaged youth and 60 teachers.

5.       MEARN international conference: Conduct an International conference in partnership with Al Akhawayn University for the 9 selected youth and 3 teachers.
